Safety Data Sheets (SDS) provide readily accessible health and safety information regarding the characteristics of materials and the appropriate procedures for working with these epoxy products.
The SDS will concisely inform you about the hazards of the materials you work with so that you can protect yourself and respond to emergency situations. The law mandates that employers provide their employees with access to SDSs and teach them to read and understand them. Training, knowledge, and understanding of the technical data on an SDS will provide you with the information you need in order to safely address your occupational exposure to hazardous materials.
Before working with any epoxy products, read their SDSs and decide how to best control your day-to-day exposures to materials and respond to any emergencies.
Gougeon Brothers, Inc. prepares and regularly updates SDSs for all WEST SYSTEM® Epoxy products. The dealer or distributor where you purchase your WEST SYSTEM Epoxy products should be able to supply you with an SDS. But if they do not, you can always access them here on the WEST SYSTEM website.
For your convenience, Saftey Data Sheets for WEST SYSTEM Epoxy products are available below. These SDSs comply with the legal requirements in the United States (HazCom 2012) and Canada (WHMIS 2015).
